Prescription Video Blog

This being my first proper video i was kinda nervous on the day, its one of those things you see so much of but never really know what to expect but i got there after surprisingly waking up at 8!!! all the nerves just kinda went away when i realized it’s down to me and everything i do from here on is how people are going to see BYOB so i’d better make it at least mildly entertaining …

The venue was crazy, a really ruff looking club with about 5 rooms, each one had a lingering smell of nights before but even being in that environment shooting the first scene was slightly difficult after a few coffees. Mainly because i had to look like i was on a serious come down. Most things after that just got stranger from a man size bear suit to Amin (the little guy at the end of the video) walking through central angel in a pig suit and red face paint…just to get lunch.

I walking on to the hallway set to find a half naked young lady stuck to a crucifix dying to pee….., being surrounded by girls in cages and men in fezz hats whilst trying to balance sneaking to the pub between scenes.

We didn’t have any male extras so the girl to guy ratio was looking good for me.. well at least till all my ates showed up to save the day – their acting was pretty good and the rave scenes were great.

The director Steve Glashier was wicked. The idea he pitched match the song perfectly. It was a long day but i remember a lot of people saying “they’ve never been to a shoot like this” or “its gonna look sick!” and i loved every minute of it.
